Problem from Michael: How to set up surround sound with red and black wire cables?

I dont know what it’s called but, I have this radio with red and black wire cables (probably too much to ask but, if you google “red and black cables,” you’ll see what I am taking about. It’s the second and third picture going to the right and the picture under the first picture). These cables won’t go into my flat screen APEX digital 40inch tv. My tv only takes the HDMI, VGA, red white yellow component cables, headphones lol, I see a blue and green slot, and extra red and white slots.

Question: is there any white red and yellow, or just red and white audio component adapter for the red and black wire cables?

Nevertheless this is details How to set up surround sound with red and black wire cables? which you might really should clear up issues personally. Maybe you will find in many ways… to make the way you live significantly better. Needing details How to set up surround sound with red and black wire cables? could be simple solution sometime soon.

Your question is very confusing.

A “radio” outputs sound and the red and black wires are probably left and right channels of sound. On a TV these are usually red and white – but they are analog stereo.

It almost sounds like you are trying to send Radio sound into your TV?

Or are you trying to send left and right sound out from your TV to your ‘radio’?

Try this: describe things in terms of “flow”. Like this:

“My TV has red and white RCA OUTPUTS”. “I want to send these signals to ….. inputs.”

Without make and model numbers – we cannot really help you when you post such a confusing description.

You need to either get a receiver or if your radio has component jacks then just plug the red and black into the radio then use the red and white component cables to connect your tv to the radio.

You can’t get true surround sound from an analog right left audio feed. I would comment further, but your question makes no sense, so I can’t know if I am answering your question or not.
