The onus will be on Canadian projects at this year's Palm Springs International Film Festival – part of the itinerary will be the Spotlight on Canada Cinema program.
Denis Villeneuve's latest homemade project "Enemy," starring Isabella Rossellini and Jake Gyllenhaal, will screen at the event, a big honour for the Montreal director, as will other Canadian films, like Bruce LaBruce’s "Gerontophilia," Sébastien Pilote’s "Le Démantèlement (The Auction)," and "The Manor," a documentary from Shawney Cohen. The entire line-up was released on Thursday.
This is the 25th edition of the Palm Springs International Film Festival. The event runs from January 3-13.
