According to Global News, the big-screen animated action movie "Monster Trucks," which is gearing up to be a blockbuster franchise, will be shot in Vancouver in the coming months.
The flick, which has a staggering budget of $100 million, will be filmed in Vancouver from April until July. While the cast has yet to be announced, the movie will be directed by Chris Wedge ("Ice Age," "Family Guy"), and is written by Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger, who both wrote the "Kung Fu Panda" movies.
The scheduled release date for "Monster Trucks" is May 29th, 2015.
